Christina, one of our mechanical engineers, visited Flora M. Singer Elementary School to get the 5th graders excited about a career in STEM. She constructed two hydraulic robot arms for the occasion using laser cut acrylic, 3D printed materials, and syringes filled with colored water. The students competed to see how quickly they could use the robots to complete a task. The teachers were shocked at how well the students focused and worked together during the competition. Three cheers for science!
