Engineered for Wellness: The Ammortal Chamber
With thousands of rave reviews from Pro Athletes, Biohackers, and Weekend Warriors
The Founder's Vision, Our Engineers
We worked with the CEO/founder of Ammortal to engineer his vision of the Chamber as an immersive experience that guides the user through physical, mental, and spiritual rejuvenation.
The team at Root3 found the answers to the many difficult engineering demands we placed on them, enabling us to realize our dream design. We are forever thankful.

Delivering High Quality Results, Fast
Stay Focused. Be Effective.
Our 7,500 square foot facility and extensive range of prototyping equipment enable us to move quickly. We focus on what matters, building simple prototypes that answer complicated questions, mitigate risk, and achieve progress in days – not weeks or months.
Credentials for regulated and controlled work
Our engineering experts bring decades of experience from regulated industries:
- ITAR Registration - Cleared to handle export-controlled defense hardware and data.
- CMMC Level 2, DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST 800-171 v2 - Compliant with DoD federal cybersecurity requirements for CUI.
- Maryland Professional Engineering Firm - State-licensed to provide engineering design consulting; PE-led designs accountable for regulatory safety and compliance.
- Named Inventor on Patents - 16 & Counting - Repeated track-record of turning complex ideas into novel, working hardware.
For medical, aerospace, defense, and other high‑stakes devices, these credentials mean you can hire us without creating new compliance or safety risk. Most US states, including Maryland, require consulting firms who provide engineering services (including product development) to be licensed Professional Engineering Firms led by licensed Professional Engineers.

Licensing Deal & Founder Exit
Congrats to our client, BLOCKsynop! They just announced a licensing deal for their Neural Blockade Monitor! The technology is the only device to allow surgeons to monitor the effectiveness of regional anesthetics in real-time. The deal includes BIOPAC Systems, Inc. (BIOPAC Medical Systems), Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sternberger initially wanted to get his research out of the Lab and into hospitals. Early prototypes were so successful, they were able to achieve FDA clearance, license the technology, and get a successful Founder Exit!

Amputees Can Service Their Prosthetic in Minutes, Not Months
Engineered for Tough Customers
This body-powered prosthetic is fully mechanical, locks automatically, unlocks on command, and was built for hard use. Ride a bike, crush a can, grab a crow-bar. And, it’s made for one-handed DIY service at home, not months in a repair depot.
We wanted to thank Root3 Labs for their time and expertise on our project. They consistently meet our complex challenges with practical solutions and are always available for conversations. Their communication is exceptional and we look forward to continuing our work with this team.
When it comes to modifications to existing products, the Root3 Labs team gets to work fast! They understand that when something in the field isn’t working right, waiting to fix it just isn’t an option for the end customer. Where they excel is coming up with unique pathways to achieve that desired end result that are logistically feasible, cost effective and that work! We’ve had electrical, mechanical, software engineering requests of Root3 Labs over the years and their team’s backgrounds are diverse enough to handle all of these different scopes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Root3 Labs to any of my colleagues for their design needs.
